Ashcroft for Civil Liberties???
Given John Ashcroft's recent coming-to-power as head of our police state, and the new PATRIOT act etc., I found this article he wrote in 97 very interesting. He wrote it when he was a senator from Missouri. Interesting how one's convictions can change so quickly... You can read it here.
